PLOT

Nadia Solano has built her reputation on being the most visible person in any room. As director of the Calloway Foundation, she has turned charitable giving into a cultural event, her face the luminous center of every gala, every press push, every carefully orchestrated moment of public generosity. So when a photographer catches her leaving a private party with a man no one can identify, and the internet decides the story before she can, Nadia does not panic. She calls in a professional.

Marcus Vane does not do press cycles or public appearances. He dismantles threats quietly, surgically, without leaving fingerprints. He agreed to escort Nadia through two weeks of controlled public exposure to kill the scandal before it kills her foundation's funding. What he did not agree to was remembering her.
